I would firstly like to thank Jackie, the hostess, for her kindness and warmth, she is a sweetheart, and would love to visit her place again, however for the standard of the place. The place is nothing compared to what you see on the internet, we were all disappointed and the amount charged does not meet the standard.
The guest house is located on a plot away from noise and in a very peaceful environment. The garden is beautiful and the room has the basic necessities. The reception was very friendly.
Peaceful. We were welcomed and instantly made to feel right at home. The accommodation was comfortable and the gardens lovely. Recommendations to nearby eateries were well advised.
Even though it was a bit flooded when we got there, the braai area was nice with a shared kitchen and TV room if you wanted to use it. The rooms are made up every day, so you feel as if you are back for the first time when you open the door again. Very peaceful and a good break from the busy life.
Safe parking. Lovely garden which is better maintained than the house. Poor water drainage in the shower.
Most beautiful area, tranquility of farm life and just the right amenities to enjoy yourself. Friendly people. If you love nature and plants, I would definitely suggest using Lauricedale. I am very satisfied with the service and the room I stayed in.

An absolutely lovely stay. Tranquil, felt like home and incredibly lovely hosts. Jackie went out of her way to accommodate me with a 9 month old baby. Will definitely be staying here again in the future. Also the plant nursery and stunning garden made me feel inspired and immersed in nature.
A beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Enjoyed walking through the garden, spacious and clean rooms and friendly hosts.
